Brief bio: Zhenxiang is from Hunan province, China and graduated from Nankai University with a BS in Chemistry. His undergraduate research which was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Gong Chen focused on the synthesis of macrocycle peptides via C-H activation. Additionally, he developed DNA-encoded libraries utilizing novel C-S bond formation chemistry. Zhenxiang is currently a pursuing a PhD in Chemistry with the Chan lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign focusing on Chemical Biology research.
